Anyway... so my job is really great. Even though it's a ton of work (teaching 6th Grade GT English, Math, Science and Social Studies...) I am loving it. I absolutely adore the people I work with. I have made a lot of great friends. It's so nice to go to work everyday and be HAPPY so see people! I mean, not that when I was working in the toy store I wasn't happy to see my co-workers (Dana!) .... but this is different. I am actually in the real world. I always hear stories about people not enjoying their job.... or people not getting along with their co-workers.... but that is definitely not the case with me. For the most part, I love my job.
My kids are awesome. I have such a range of personalities and attitudes. Sixth graders are hilarious. Sometimes they don't know they're hilarious... but they are. I have around 125 sweethearts and I love them all... except when I have a headache. Haha. But seriously, I couldn't ask for a better set of students. They are fabulous.
So. There you have it. An update on my outrageously exciting life. (Such a lie) I seriously wake up at 6:25 (wooo new for me, 20 mins later) ... go to school until around 5:45 or so.... come home... make dinner-- and then watch 90210 until around 9. I am usually in bed by 9 or 9:30. I rarely see my roommate :( I love you Leslie! Maybe one of these days I'll be able to go out on a week night or go to bed at a "big girl" time... but until then, I am proud of my schedule. Welp-- until next time!
